The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center high school Athlete of the Week voting occurs each week during high school sports competition and recognizes athletes across all sports.

Athletes are on this week's ballot based on information made available to The Dispatch and nominations.
Once athletes win during the regular season, they're not eligible to be back on the ballot until the postseason. If athletes haven't won in the regular season, they can be nominated more than once.
The Dispatch staff reserves the right to remove ballots or athletes from the ballot where voting irregularities have occurred.

Here are this week's Boys Athlete of the Week candidates:
Wyatt Arver, North Union football: Scored three touchdowns on seven carries, finishing with 75 yards on the ground, and added five tackles in a 41-14 over Galion Northmor.
Trey Bentley, Jonathan Alder football: Totaled 220 yards and two touchdowns and made four tackles for loss in a 34-14 win over Bloom-Carroll.
Memphis Book, West Jefferson football: Ran for 116 yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries and made seven tackles in a 62-28 win over Springfield Greenon.
Quinzy Chason, Zanesville football: Ran for 132 yards and two touchdowns on 14 attempts in a 23-14 wiin over Newark.
Jayce Golden, Northridge football: Scored six touchdowns, tying the school record, in a 49-14 victory over Grandview Heights. He rushed for 157 yards and four TDs on 20 carries and caught three passes for 110 yards and two TDs.
Donovan Griggs, London football: Intercepted a pass to spark a 15-point first-quarter run in a 37-0 win over Hamilton Heights.
Tyler Harr, Mount Gilead football: Had nine carries for 200 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 77 yards and a score in a 42-7 win over Grove City Christian.
Brandon Heater, Benjamin Logan football: Averaged 44.6 yards on eight punts, including three punts over 50 yards and one inside the 10-yard line, in an 18-10 loss to Lima Senior. He also kicked a 33-yard field goal and a PAT.
Tristyn Jones, Heath football: Rushed for 166 yards on 25 carries in a 24-18 win over Columbus Academy.
Ethan Litton, Olentangy Berlin soccer: Scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Westerville Central and scored four goals, setting a school record for most goals scored in a game, in a 6-0 win over Columbus Academy.
Xander Matchack, Watkins Memorial football: Rushed for four touchdowns and 87 yards in a 41-7 win over Mansfield Senior.
Jackson McMillan, Granville football: Completed 16 of 20 passes for 259 yards and five touchdowns in a 35-12 win over Johnstown.
Declan O’Neil, Hilliard Bradley football: Completed 12 of 15 passes for 211 yards and four touchdowns in a 56-21 win over Grove City.
Charlie Pizzotti, Columbus Academy football: Caught six passes for 115 yards and three touchdowns in a 24-18 loss to Heath.
Carter Rhyan, Granville football: Caught 11 passes for 154 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-12 win over Johnstown.
Shawn Rice, Worthington Kilbourne football: Caught 12 passes for 254 yards and five touchdowns in a 56-35 win over Canal Winchester.
Jackson Szabo, Worthington Kilbourne football: Threw for 414 yards and seven touchdowns in a 56-35 win over Canal Winchester. Each of these individual marks represented a single-game record for the program.
Jamari Snow, Canal Winchester football: Ran for 239 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries in a 56-35 loss to Worthington Kilbourne.
Camden Stephens, Heath football: Intercepted a pass with 39 seconds left to preserve a 24-18 win over Columbus Academy.
Rashaud Truss, Hilliard Bradley football: Ran for189 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries in a 56-21 win over Grove City.
