Feed em like Fido
Amazing that in our new correct world, childhood obesity persists.
Instead of feeding your kids chicken McNuggets and other fat-rich, nutrient-lacking foods, I suggest you purchase fresh-from-the-farm foods such as Sundays For Dogs, or similar pet foods designed to keep your pets healthy, happy, and with a sheen to their fur. A bit more expensive than the old-fashioned dog foods, but way cheaper than the rip-off fast-food joints.
Heck, feed the kids with the dogs, and you might even get the kids to go outside and enjoy a romp around the yard with Fido, instead of being parked in front of their social media poison.

Ramaswamy is bad for Ohio's health
Re "Ohio doctors group backs
Ramaswamy over Acton," Sept. 17: The recent decision from the Ohio State Medical Association Political Action Committee to endorse Vivek Ramaswamy in the governor’s race was shocking and deeply harmful. To quote aletter signed by over 1,000 local physiciansfollowing this decision: the Ohio State Medical Association Political Action Committee does not speak for us.
As a practicing pediatrician and adult medicine physician, I urge fellow Ohioans to hear and understand the following unambiguous truth: Any cuts to Medicaid directly harm children.
Children will suffer from preventable illness, and precious lives will be lost as families are forced to make impossible decisions between putting food on the table and seeking basic health care. We are already seeing too many families delay necessary care due to systemic threats to their financial well-being and physical safety.
Further dismantling any support for children, individuals with disabilities, and those with serious chronic illnesses goes against the values that I hear from my patients from all sides of the political spectrum. It is poor policy, and it is inhumane.
I urge Ohioans to read the letter published Sept. 15, 2026, supported by a large group of Ohio physicians outlining the critical reasons why a vote for Vivek Ramaswamy will harm the health and well-being of your families and neighbors. And I urge OSMAPAC to reconsider whether its stances truly align with the physicians and human beings it claims to represent.
