Alison Krauss & Union Station canceled their Aug. 1 concert at the Ohio State Fair due to an unspecified illness.
The state fair announced the cancellation at around 2 p.m. on Aug. 1. The concert was set to begin at 7 p.m. It will not be rescheduled.
Concert ticketholders still can use their tickets for entry to the fair. Tickets purchased directly through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded, including service fees. Refunds could take up to 7 business days to process.

The concert was one of several planned for the 2026 fair.Remaining concerts include Sammy Kershaw, for KING + COUNTRY, Nelly, “Weird Al” Yankovic with
Puddles Pity Party, Bailey Zimmerman, and Blues Traveler/Gin Blossoms with special guest Spin Doctors.
Concert tickets purchased in advance include admission to the fair.
Children 3 and older must have a ticket for the concerts. Children younger than 2 who occupy a seat must have a ticket; those sitting on laps may do so without a ticket.
ASL interpretation is provided for each concert, with the interpreter on a riser at the front of section 105. Free assisted listening devices also can be borrowed from the box office, located inside the center doors of the building.
