With an outdoor exhibition and a closed scrimmage already in the books, the Ohio State men's basketball team will take one more chance to work on itself before officially starting the 2026-27 season.
The preseason comes to an unofficial close with a home exhibition game against Butler at the Schottenstein Center. The Buckeyes have played Cincinnati in an outdoor game in Mason, Ohio, and played a closed-door scrimmage at Louisville, and now will wrap things up against the Bulldogs.
"This one will be approached more like a true game," Ohio State coach Jake Diebler said. "I want to see carry-over. I want our mistakes to be aggressive ones. We’re far from playing perfect, but I want us to make aggressive mistakes."
