Ohio is getting another Target store this fall.
The retailer announced plans to open eight stores this fall, including one in Ohio. The company says it is on track to open more than 30 stores in 2026 and
over 300 nationwide by 2035.

Target's newest Ohio store opening in Lima
Target plans to open its newest Ohio store in Lima on Nov. 8, 2026
.The store at 2600 Elida Road will span about 128,000 square feet and is expected to employ more than 140 people. The Lima location will become Target's 66th store in Ohio. Target says it employs more than 10,600 people in the state and operates supply chain facilities in West Jefferson.
The store will feature a CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks Café, Drive Up, Order Pickup and same-day delivery through Target Circle 360.
Store hours will be 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
"Our continued commitment to opening new stores is really about showing up for our guests and our communities," Target Chief Stores Officer Adrienne Costanzo said. She said the new stores will help the retailer improve the shopping experience, support employees and continue its expansion plans.
Where else is Target opening stores this fall?
Lima's new Target is one of eight stores opening this fall across the country. Lima is the only location scheduled to open in November. The other seven stores will open Oct. 11.

- Bridgehampton, New York
- Cookeville, Tennessee
- Fort Worth Chisholm Trail, Texas
- Katy Heritage, Texas
- Liberty Hill, Texas
- Norfolk Wards Corner, Virginia
- Lima, Ohio: 2600 Elida Road (opening Nov. 8, 2026)
How many Target stores does Ohio have?
Ohio currently operates 65 Target stores, according to the company. Once the Lima location opens Nov. 8, it will become the retailer's 66th store in the state.
