They say you can't go home again, but Twenty One Pilots might beg to differ.
With a highly anticipated sold-out show coming to Ohio Stadium, the Columbus-bred duo of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun is more likely to agree that there's no place like home.
The Oct. 17 performance will be the Pilots' largest headlining concert to date. They first teased the show in May, when banners with the band's logo mysteriously popped up at several Columbus music venues, all places they had played during their salad days.
The Twenty One Pilots Fan Premier Exhibit, a two-day touring, museum-style experience tied to the concert, is also sold out. The display features personal band memorabilia and lore from all eras like "Clancy" and "Breach," including old masks, stage
outfits, instruments, handwritten lyrics, tour setlists and props.
Parking lots at Ohio Stadium open at 8 a.m. On the day of the concert, gates will open at 4 p.m. and the concert is set to begin at 6 p.m.
Guests with field-level tickets must enter through the North Rotunda to receive wristbands for field access. Also, only those with club/loge/suite tickets may enter through the Club Gate on the west side of the stadium.
General-admission ticketholders will have two chances ahead of the show to lock down their places in line at these wristband distribution sites:
- Schottenstein Center - Southwest Rotunda, 6 p.m. to midnight Oct. 16
- Ohio Stadium - North Rotunda, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 17
Camping out or arriving super early won't give you a head-start since line position will be determined by a random number lottery.
Guests who arrive after the distribution will receive the next available sequential wristband and be placed behind the lottery group.
