Columbus man died after crashing into a tree in Delaware County, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
At about 8 p.m. Aug. 6, Jared Freeman was driving a Chevrolet Cruze south on State Route 315 in Liberty Township when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the right side of the road, hitting a tree, according to a news release.
Freeman died at the scene of the crash.
The Delaware County post of the highway patrol is investigating the crash.
