District leaders were Canal Winchester Local Schools' highest-paid employees in 2025, public records obtained by The Dispatch show.
Superintendent Kiya Hunt was the district's top paid employee, making $230,748 last year. The second-highest paid worker in the school system was Treasurer Nicholas Roberts, who brought in $185,596, according to payroll records.
Earnings reflect each person's gross pay, which includes their salary, any bonus or overtime they received as well as other benefits such as severance pay, stipends and more.
Around 3,700 students attend classes at one of Canal Winchester schools' five buildings, according to the National Center for Education Statistics.
