Shadowbox Live (SBX) is known for its bold approach to musical theater, with shows that often resemble rock concerts.
The company’s current production, an electrifying tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne, is really going off the rails – much like a crazy train.
"Speak of the Devil: A Haunting Rock Experience" pays homage to Osbourne and Black Sabbath, saluting the rock legends with vocal and instrumental music, as well as choreography.
The multimedia spectacle captures the spirit of the "Prince of Darkness" through songs such as "Crazy Train" and "No More Tears," and classic Sabbath tracks including "Iron Man" and "Paranoid."
In a press release, SBX producing director Julie Klein
called it an “honor and responsibility” to celebrate the legacies of Black Sabbath and Osbourne, who died July 22, 2025.
“Speak of the Devil” isn’t just for Ozzy and Sabbath fans. With Halloween bringing the spooky season during the production’s run, it’s also perfect for a Devil’s Night outing.

Evening performances will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 22-23, Oct. 29-30, Nov. 5-6 and Nov. 12-13. Matinees will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 25, Nov. 1, Nov. 8 and Nov. 15. SBX is located at 503 S. Front St. in the Brewery District.
