45-year-old man was killed Sept. 11 when he lost control of his SUV on an East Side stretch of Interstate 70 in Columbus.
Columbus police said Carl Moorer Sr. was driving on I-70 West, west of South James Road, just after 7 p.m., when he lost control of his 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, went through a cable barrier on the median and hit an overhead street sign.
The SUV flipped several times, according to police, and Moorer was thrown from the vehicle. Columbus Division of Fire medics pronounced him dead at 7:11 p.m.
