Ohio State plays one of the most anticipated games of the college football season with an Oct. 17 matchup at Indiana, the reigning national champion.

Ohio State and Indiana won their Week 6 games, but the Hoosiers ran into a bit of trouble against Nebraska. Down 17-13 in the fourth quarter on fourth down, Indiana quarterback Josh Hoover threw a a 44-yard go-ahead touchdown pass to wide receiver Nick Marsh.

Ohio State, meanwhile, dominated Maryland in a 45-16 win at home.

Last season, Indiana beat Ohio State

13-10 on Dec. 6 and clinched the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff. Ohio State fell to the No. 2 seed and eventually lost to Miami in the CFP quarterfinal. Indiana, meanwhile, faced the Hurricanes in the national championship game and won 27-2.

Ohio State jumped up to No. 5 in the US LBM Coaches poll and No. 4 in the Associated Press poll after the win. Indiana is ranked No. 4 in the Coaches Poll but No. 5 in the AP poll.
