Travis Kelce is putting down new roots in his home state, this time with wife Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Cleveland Heights native purchased a $5.35 million lakefront mansion in Bratenahl, a village just east of Cleveland, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.
Kelce closed on the home in March, about four months before he and Swift married July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
News 5 Cleveland also confirmed the purchase, reporting that the historic mansion sits along Lake Erie in the small Cuyahoga County community.
What to know about Travis Kelce's new Ohio home
The roughly 21,000-square-foot mansion sits on 3.5 acres and dates to about 1895, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The estate has eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms and is known as "Moyenage,"
according to News 5 Cleveland. The property also includes a former ballroom that was converted into a game room and home theater, along with a former gatehouse that now serves as a two-bedroom guest cottage.
The home's previous owners include a former president of Cleveland-based Sherwin-Williams and a former executive director of Cleveland Clinic Innovations, News 5 reported.
Figurati Construction Group, a Northeast Ohio renovation company, bought the property for $1.95 million in 2023 and restored it, according to News 5. The renovated mansion was initially listed for $6.99 million before its asking price was later reduced to $5.99 million.
Kelce ultimately purchased it for $5.35 million.
David Ayers and Nick Zawitz of The Agency Cleveland represented both sides of the transaction, according to News 5.
Where is Bratenahl, Ohio?
Bratenahl is a small village in Cuyahoga County along the Lake Erie shoreline immediately northeast of Cleveland.
The location brings Kelce back close to where he grew up. Kelce and his older brother, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, were raised in Cleveland Heights and attended Cleveland Heights High School.
The new property is only a few miles from Kelce's hometown.
When did Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce get married?
Kelce purchased the Bratenahl estate months before he and Swift tied the knot.
The couple married July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City following months of speculation about where their wedding would take place.
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025 after dating for roughly two years.
Their relationship first became public in 2023 after Swift began attending Chiefs games. Kelce had previously revealed on his "New Heights" podcast that he tried to meet Swift and give her a friendship bracelet containing his phone number when her Eras Tour stopped at Arrowhead Stadium that summer.
