A highlight reel from Ryan Day's quarterback days at New Hampshire sparked laughs and a little trash talk from his players at Ohio State.
In a clip shared by CBS Sports, quarterback Julian Sayin, wide receiver Jeremiah Smith and safety Jaylen McClain reacted to a compilation of plays Day made as a college quarterback.
"I'm not going to lie, I didn't know he was a running type quarterback," McClain said while reacting to a rushing touchdown from Day.
"QB Power? OK!" Smith said while laughing in reaction to Day's fist-pump celebration after scoring.
After the running play, the players were shown a highlight of Day completing a game-winning touchdown pass against Dartmouth.
"He was good," Sayin said. "He had Chip Kelly calling plays for him too, which
is pretty cool."
"Rolled out, stayed poised, took the hit, I respect it. I didn't expect nothing less," McClain said.

McClain was asked if he could intercept a throw from Day as the opposing quarterback. He replied, "Absolutely."
Sayin was asked who he believed is better in their prime: himself or Day.
"I've got to say me, but coach Day was a good player back in the day," Sayin said with a smile.
A Manchester, New Hampshire, native, Day was a three-year starter for his home-state school from 1999-01. He finished with 8,492 total offensive yards and 53 touchdown passes with a 59.9 completion percentage. He was the first quarterback at New Hampshire to attempt more than 1,000 career passes and set nine program records during his tenure.
After his playing career, Day began coaching at UNH as a tight ends coach.
