Ohio State football's 2026 season opener is also the most affordable game for fans looking to buy tickets.
That wasn't the case last year. Five days before the 2025 season opener, tickets for a seat at Ohio Stadium started at $378. The hype surrounding that contest was much greater, of course. Ranked No. 2 in the Coaches Poll at the time, Ohio State faced No. 1-ranked Texas and won 14-7.
This year, top-ranked Ohio State takes on MAC opponent Ball State in the teams' first meeting.
