The CBUS Soul Fest is bringing food and music to Bicentennial Park in celebration of the city's vibrant Black culture and community. To make space for the festival's fifth year, some road closures will be in place during its Sept. 4-5 runtime.
This will be the festival's second year calling Bicentennial Park home after it became a two-day festival in 2025. Closures include multiple roadblocks between Main Street and Noble Street, plus additional closures surrounding Civic Center Drive.
CBUS Soul Fest is free to attend and will run from 4-10 p.m. both Sept. 4 and 5. Six musical acts are slated to perform across both days, and there will be 11 food trucks to choose from.
Road closures will end at 6 a.m. Sept. 6, according to the Columbus Recreation
and Parks Department. Closures are subject to change.
Which roads will be closed for the CBUS Soul Fest?
The following roads will be closed beginning 6 a.m. Sept. 2:
- Civic Center Drive from Main Street to Noble Street
The following roads will be closed beginning 9 a.m. Sept. 3:
- Rich and Main streets from Washington Boulevard to Ludlow Street
- Civic Center Drive from Broad Street to Mound Street
- 2nd Street from Main Street to Noble Street
- Jewett Street from Main Street to Noble Street
- Main Street from Civic Center Drive to Jewett Street
- Washington Boulevard from Broad Street to Town Street
