A Powerball ticket purchased in Powell is now worth $2 million after matching all five white balls in a Sept. 14 drawing.
The manually selected ticket, sold at Sawmill Parkway Duchess, missed only the Powerball in the Sept. 14 drawing. Because the buyer added Power Play, the standard $1 million prize doubled to $2 million.
A second Ohio ticket purchased at GetGo #3285 in Medina won $100,000 after matching four white balls and the Powerball. The auto-picked ticket also included Power Play, doubling its prize from $50,000.
What were the Sept. 14 Powerball numbers?
The winning numbers were 19, 20, 57, 61 and 67, and the Powerball was 22. The Power Play multiplier was 2X.
The estimated jackpot was $253 million, with a cash value of $107.4 million.
No ticket matched all six numbers to win the
jackpot. A ticket sold in Georgia matched the five white balls without Power Play and won $1 million.
When is the next Powerball drawing?
The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for 10:59 p.m. on Sept. 16.
The jackpot has grown to an estimated $271 million, with a cash option of $115.1 million.
Powerball tickets cost $2 per play. Adding Power Play costs an additional $1. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
