Both the Buckeyes and Longhorns are ranked within the top five of the US LBM Coaches Poll and the Associated Press poll. OSU holds the top spot in both polls, while Texas ranks No. 3 in the Coaches and No. 4 in the AP.
Texas went 9-3 last season and missed the College Football Playoff.
