An 18-year-old driver died and two teens were injured in a crash in Licking County, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at about 9:30 p.m. Sept. 22 on Mink Street near Condit Road in Jersey Township, according to a highway patrol news release.
Isaac Aguilera, 18, of Colorado, was driving a 2015 Dodge Ram north on Mink Street when the truck went left over the center line, left the roadway and struck a ditch, a tree, a fence and another tree, the highway patrol said.
Aguilera was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and died at the scene.
Medics transported two teen passengers, ages 13 and 16, to Nationwide Children's Hospital for treatment.
The highway patrol is investigating the crash and working to determine whether Aguilera
and the passengers were wearing seatbelts.
