Baseball’s batty cousins are returning to Columbus next summer to throw “the greatest party in sports,” and fans are sure to go bananas!
The Party Animals, a Banana Ball Champion League team, are as well-known for their high-energy antics and general tomfoolery as they are for their athletic prowess.
From walk-ups to walk-offs, the fun will be nonstop when the Party Animals bring Banana Ball to Huntington Park on Aug. 6-7 for a double-header against the Texas Tailgaters.
The games mark a return to the park for the Animals, who played a three-game series there against the Savannah Bananas in 2024, drawing more than 10,000 spectators.
The black-and-pink-clad Party Animals are the main rivals and comedic counterparts of the Bananas, much like the Harlem
Globetrotters and the Washington Generals.
Tickets will be available about two months before the games. Due to high demand, a lottery system is used to distribute tickets, but it does not guarantee tickets. The ticket lottery list is open at bananaball.com/tickets until midnight Oct. 31.
Savannah Bananas hit up Ohio in 2027
The Savannah Bananas, who bested the Party Animals at the sold-out Columbus games in 2024, will go toe-to-toe against the Animals at Cincinnati’s Great American Ball Park on July 23-34.
Those games follow the Bananas' June 5-6 faceoff against theLoco Beach Coconuts at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland.
