Columbus police homicide detectives are investigating after a 20-year-old man died in a shooting on the city's Far West Side.
At about 11:30 p.m. Aug. 31, Columbus police responded to a shooting on the 4900 block of Lion Drive in the Emerald Glen apartment complex, according to a police news release.
Officers found Mohamed Musa Mohamed with a gunshot wound. Medics transported him in critical condition to a local hospital, where he died at 1:16 a.m.
Police did not provide any information about suspects or what led up to the shooting. Investigators are reviewing evidence to determine the circumstances of the shooting, according to the news release.
