A crash involving two tractor-trailers has shut down Interstate 70 in Madison County near West Jefferson.
The westbound lanes of I-70 are closed near the State Route 142 interchange. The left lane of I-70 east is also closed in the area.

A camera from the Ohio Department of Transportation in the area shows at least two tractor-trailers with damage. First responders are still on the scene as of 3:45 p.m.
Westbound traffic is backed up to the Hilliard-Rome Road exits as of 3:45 p.m., according to data from ODOT.
The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m.
There is no estimated time for when the highway might reopen. There was no immediate word on how many people may have been injured or how seriously.
