Has Putin thanked you, JD?
JD Vance is asking voters to give his party “another chance” at governing in Congress.
Since Trump publicly invited Russian cyberattacks against our government in 2016 – i.e., “Russia, if you’re listening ...” – while his campaign manager, Paul Manafort, was working to pay off a $10 million debt to Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, and Republicans’ party platform reversed its previous support for Ukraine, the GOP changed, aligning more closely with the authoritarian kleptocracy of Trump’s “friend,” Vladimir Putin.
According to the conservative Heritage Foundation, Russia’s oil revenues have enjoyed a major boost from Trump’s and Vance’s Iran war, taking in an extra $150 million each day Trump’s war has dragged on.
gas tax suspension ploy reeks of a coup
Thanks to Trump and Vance, that's a $31.5 billion in windfall oil revenues for Russia at a time when Putin desperately needs it.
Meanwhile, here in the USA, we’re paying a dollar more for a gallon of gas than we were paying last year.
My question for JD Vance and his fellow Putin Republicans is: Has Putin ever said thank you once?

Ramaswamy can't handle the strikes
Re "Acton is hiding from Ohioans who want to look her squarely in eye," Sept. 24: Who doesn't agree with Sen. Kristina Roegner's assertion that "Every voter should do their homework and question ... policy plans in the open"? Vivek Ramaswamy admitted that his policy plan is to reduce income taxes to zero in 10 years, and it's not open to debate.
How is that playing with conservative college students who booed him off the stage, as many are borrowing thousands of dollars to attend college due to budget cuts by the Ohio legislature? (STRIKE 1.)
I learned that Elon Musk attended a $50,000-a-plate fundraiser in California for Vivek's presidential campaign; his spending-cut proposal allowed Musk to later propose the Department of Government Efficiency.
As a result, a member of the DOGE task force admitted on camera that dismantling federal agencies did not reduce federal spending. (STRIKE 2.)
"Acton proved her mettle during COVID, but don’t forget how that chapter ended: she resigned as health director as the pressure peaked."
As I recall, Acton shouldered the blame for federal recommendations made by the Trump administration. Her family's privacy was violated by loud conservative protesters in her front yard.
Has Vivek faced the music of loud protesters who are misinformed by conservative political action committees? (STRIKE 3.)

Amy Acton doesn't have any stances
How does Amy Acton expect to win if no one knows what she stands for, what her objectives are, and how she plans to initiate them?
Why won’t she debate Vivek Ramaswamy? Why run for governor if she’s afraid of debate?
Does she seriously think she can run a state if she can’t take part in a debate?
It’s scary thinking about it.
