Land-Grant Brewing Co. in Columbus , Ohio, made USA TODAY’s list of best bars in the country.

The USA TODAY Bars of the Year 2026 list, released July 29, features 38 establishments, from dives to high-end cocktail bars.

"I know if I come down here, I'm going to know 10 people, and I'm going to feel comfortable and we've got a whole neighborhood of all these places now," said Land-Grant co-founder and creative director Walt Keys, who started the brewery with Ohio State University classmate Adam Benner and created its 1.5-acre campus in Franklinton.

Land-Grant, a craft brewery with lots of space and plenty to do, was chosen because of its appeal to a huge cross section of Columbus. Its full activities
