Acton could ruin Ohio again
ReLetter to the editor "Ramaswamy is bad for Ohio's health," Sept. 25: Dr. Lydia Hanson thinks Vivek Ramaswamy would be bad for Ohio kids and families who fear the loss of Ohio Medicaid.
Well, I feel Dr.
Amy Acton is extremely dangerous to Ohio.
She had an active role in shutting down Ohio during COVID-19, ruining many small mom-and-pop businesses who couldn't pay out to follow the rules of the pandemic.
Acton convinced the governor to shut down everything.
She is directly responsible for the fallout along with the federal government. And doctors want this evil in because they know when the next outbreak of whatever, they will easily get her to do the exactly the same thing as with COVID.
That's the real threat to Ohio and if Acton gets to be the governor, then Ohio will be really in danger of being ruined again. She cannot be the next governor for the good welfare of all Ohio business and families will be much safer without Dr Acton.

Husted needs to get the boot
I want to point out something that has not been emphasized in the current U.S. senatorial contest between ‘incumbent’ Jon Husted and Sherrod Brown.
No one voted for Husted in his position as U.S. senator. The position was given to him by Gov. Mike DeWine.
It is true that Husted is considerably younger than Brown, but Brown has many years of rational, moderate governance to qualify him for the position. What does Husted have? His lie-packed campaign ads make ridiculous claims, such as Brown caused the severe pandemic-induced inflation and that Brown supports child sex change.
Husted was deeply involved in the FirstEnergy Corp. scandal that funneled $60 million to secure a $1.3 billion ratepayer-funded bailout for its nuclear and coal operations, causing all Ohioans to pay more for electricity.
He was deeply involved in bringing 200 data centers to Ohio with huge tax breaks and, again, raising our electric rates.
He recently said that Trump should end the Iran war, which is causing so much harm to all Americans, and then voted to allow Trump to continue his war of choice.
We need congressional leaders who will stand up to Trump and his MAGA supporters, not more sock-puppets.

Acton is the only real choice for governor
Ohioans, please consider what’s happening in your life before heading to the polls to cast your ballot for our next governor.
If, like most people, you’re concerned about high gas, rent and utility prices; the medical debt that can accrue with one scary diagnosis or tragic accident; or the takeover of rural areas by data centers, then you are probably seeking a leader who will work to ease these hardships.
There is only one choice for governor: Dr. Amy Acton.
For over two years, she’s been traveling throughout the state listening to the needs and concerns of everyday Ohioans. One needs only to look at the actions of her past to know that what she is talking to the people of Ohio about, and the detailed priorities that she has shared on her website, reflect who she is and has always been. She cares for and will fight for us all.
If you want a billionaire who only cares about himself, then Ramaswamy is your guy.
If you want a true public servant who cares about all Ohioans and has a record to prove it, cast your ballot for Dr. Amy Acton.
