A pitcher facing the Columbus Clippers was ejected from a July 24 game even before throwing a pitch.
In the top of the seventh inning, St. Paul Saints pitcher Woo-Suk Go received an ejection from home plate umpire Steven Hodgins for having an illegal substance on his glove. Go was about to make his debut for St. Paul when an umpire called together the rest of his crew to investigate the glove.
With Go ejected, the Saints put in C.J. Culpepper to pitch, who gave up two earned runs in 1⅔ innings. First baseman Kody Huff got the best of Culpepper and hit an RBI double to take a 4-2 lead in the inning. The Clippers went on to win 6-5.

Go was optioned from the Minnesota Twins to the minors four days prior. He had four appearances for the Twins in 2026, pitching four innings with a 9.00 ERA.
Despite not throwing a pitch, Go is included in the official box score with zero innings pitched.
