State football coach Ryan Day is set to speak to the media at noon Sept. 22 ahead of an upcoming home game against Illinois.
The Buckeyes won 59-3 against Kent State Sept. 19. During the game, wide receiver Jeremiah Smith broke the Ohio State all-time record for receiving yards.
Despite the win, Ohio State fell to No. 7 in the Associated Press poll and the US LBM Coaches Poll.
The Buckeyes are 69-30-4 all-time against Illinois.
