A 14-year-old and a 13-year-old were charged in the July 22 shooting death of a 15-year-old boy in South Franklinton.
Deniro Arnold died in a shooting on the 700 block of Canonby Place. Officers found him and an unidentified 19-year-old man with gunshot wounds just before 6 that night. Arnold died at a hospital shortly after the shooting.
Detectives arrested two boys ages 13 and 14 on charges of murder and robbery on July 31, according to a news release.
Previously, on July 28 a 17-year-old boy was charged with murder and felonious assault and arrested.
The Dispatch is not naming the teens who were charged in the shooting because they have not been charged as adults.
Jeremiah Willoughby, 19, was also charged with tampering with evidence and theft.
In court records, police said he removed a backpack and a pair of slide sandals from the 19-year-old victim and hid them in an apartment to impede the investigation. Willoughby remains at large.
