The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center high school Athlete of the Week voting occurs each week during high school sports competition and recognizes athletes across all sports.

Athletes are on this week's ballot based on information made available to The Dispatch and nominations.
Once athletes win during the regular season, they're not eligible to be back on the ballot until the postseason. If athletes haven't won in the regular season, they can be nominated more than once.
The Dispatch staff reserves the right to remove ballots or athletes from the ballot where voting irregularities have occurred.

Here are this week's Boys Athlete of the Week candidates:
Trey Berry, DeSales soccer: Scored seven goals in two games. He had four goals and an assist in an 8-1 win over Hartley and 3 goals in a 5-0 win over Grandview Heights.
Nolan Beyer, St. Charles football: Had three passing touchdowns – completing 14 of 19 passes for 183 yards – and ran for a fourth score in a 38-0 win over Hartley.
Giovanni Cotton, Grove City Christian football: Ran for 168 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-0 win over Millersport. Cotton has run for 398 yards and four scores the past two weeks.
Carson Deskins, Westfall football: Recorded two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown, and went 5 or 5 on extra points in a 43–14 victory over Paint Valley.
Hal Gillespie, Newark soccer: Scored four goals in a 6-1 win over Beechcroft.
Jayce Golden, Northridge football: Rushed for 242 yards and three touchdowns on 38 carries in a 28-7 win over Lakewood.
Tyler Hackler, Granville Christian golf: Shot 88 at Denison to lead the Lions to a runner-up team finish at the Division III sectional tournament.
Tristyn Jones, Heath football: Ran for 195 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-3 win over Utica.
Brandt Lichtenauer, Licking Valley football: Recovered a fumble and returned another 11 yards for a touchdown in a 40-0 win over Watkins Memorial.
Edmund McAllister III, Pickerington Central football: Returned the game’s opening kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown and ran for 124 yards and two scores on nine carries in a 40-7 win at Lancaster.
Jackson McMillan, Granville football: Ran for three toucdowns and threw for two in a 42-35 win over Mount Vernon.
Parker Proper, Danville football: Tied the school record for passing touchdowns in a game with seven, completing 18 of 23 passes for 325 yards in a 52-7 win over Galion Northmor. He also rushed for 28 yards and made an interception.
Ryan Sager, Johnstown football: Ran for 272 yards and three touchdowns on 40 carries in a 42-28 win over Newark Catholic.
Jamari Snow, Canal Winchester football: Rushed for 278 yards and five touchdowns on 27 carries in a 44-14 win over Newark 44-14.
Kane Stover, Highland football: Ran for 143 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries and made a team-high 12 tackles in a 24-21 win over Galion.
Eli Stumpf, Big Walnut football: Completed 24 of 29 passes for 300 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 81 yards and two TDs on 10 carries in a 47-40 overtime win over Ironton 47-40 in overtime.
Will Taylor, Johnstown golf: Shot 74 at Oakhaven to take runner-up and lead the Johnnies to a runner-up team finish at the Division II sectional tournament.
