V.E. Schwab fans hoping to catch the best-selling novelist’s Columbus stop in October will find the event fully booked, but there’s a growing list of other author appearances to check out.
Columbus Metropolitan Library continues to expand its Authors at the Library series to connect readers with their favorite writers and introduce them to up-and-comers.
The series presents monthly talks by visiting authors, some of them moderated and accompanied by book sales, signings and other activities.
Previously, the program hosted up to six authors and most events were held at the Main Library at 96 S. Grant Ave. This year will bring 30-plus authors to branches across the system, with more to be added in 2027.
Tickets are needed for Schwab’s sold-out conversation
with John Scalzi on Oct. 13, but the rest of the series is free.
