John Mobley Jr. had to leave Ohio State's exhibition game against Butler on Oct. 25 early, but after the 82-73 win, the junior guard said his injury is minor.
With 2:01 to play, Mobley was subbed out after he hit the ground hard. He had he stepped on teammate Ivan Njegovan's foot while backpedaling on defense. Mobley clutched his right ankle as play was stopped and then he slowly made his way to the team bench under his own power.
After being looked at by team medical personnel, Mobley gingerly made his way to the locker room for the remainder of the game. Seated at his locker afterward, Mobley said it's nothing to worry about.

"I feel good," he said. "I just stepped on a foot. Little roll. Felt there was no need to go back in. It's better off
just resting it."
Against Butler, Mobley finished with 17 points, three assists and four turnovers in a team-high 32:51. He was 7 for 14 from the floor and 2 for 6 from 3-point range.
Ohio State will open the regular season with a Nov. 2 game against BYU in Salt Lake City.
