As the final weeks of the race to replace Gov. Mike DeWine draw near, Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will speak at the Columbus Metropolitan Club on Oct. 14.
Ramaswamy will talk about his vision for Ohio with Ohio Public Radio and Television Statehouse News Bureau Chief Karen Kasler from noon to 1 p.m. on Oct. 14 at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum. You will be able to watch the speech live here when it starts.
Ramaswamy, a biotech entrepreneur and 2024 presidential candidate, is facing Democratic Dr. Amy Acton in a tight race. Acton led the state health department during the initial months of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Columbus Metropolitan Club officials offered the Acton campaign an opportunity to participate in a similar
event, but they did not commit, according to CMC.
