Live television is anything but predictable.
A Cincinnati reporter may know that even better now after a vehicle crashed during his on-air traffic report − resulting in a blooper.
Channel 9 (WCPO) traffic anchor KJ Jacobs shared a traffic update for Interstate 71 at Gilbert Avenue in Cincinnati, on Thursday, Aug. 6.
A live traffic feed showed cars driving on the highway, with one vehicle stopped between the highway's lanes and an on-ramp.
While Jacobs spoke, another vehicle drove off the on-ramp and crashed into the back of the stopped vehicle.
"Oh sh--" Jacobs said.
"Oh, I'm so sorry," he immediately added. "Literally just watched a crash happen in real-time."
"And I almost said something inappropriate," he said with a small chuckle.
Fortunately for
Jacobs, viewers didn't seem to judge. He posted the blooper on Facebook, and many commenters shared laughter and understanding.
"Perfectly valid reaction," one user wrote.
"You're good, everyone watching said the same thing," another user commented.
