Kroger will hold a celebration for the grand re-opening of its Worthington location Aug. 21.
After three months of renovations and improvements, the store at 60 Worthington Mall will unveil its $1.2 million
renovation, according to a press release.
During an opening ceremony, Kroger will gift the first 50 customers in line by 9 a.m. a $10 gift card. A ribbon cutting will take place at 10 a.m.
“We hope the Worthington community can join us on August 21 and to celebrate their all-new grocery store,” said Lindsay Schetter, Worthington Kroger store leader. “Residents will find their favorite store refreshed and ready to re-welcome them in.”
The remodeled 57,518 square-foot store will feature updates to the dairy, produce, floral and other departments that feature new cases, islands, workstations and more. Additionally, shoppers will see a full grocery reset, lighting refresh and exterior enhancements.
The stores hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Pharmacy hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
