The Ohio State women’s basketball team will open league play at Rutgers in early December, endure a January stretch of four of five games on the road and close the regular season with a weekend home game against Iowa.

In addition to a 13-game nonconference schedule that is still being finalized, the Buckeyeswill begin their 18-game Big Ten slate with a Dec. 5 game at Rutgers. After four nonconference games, Ohio State will return to Big Ten play with a Dec. 29 home game against Oregon.

Maryland will visit the Schottenstein Center on Jan. 2 before the Buckeyes begin a run of road games. Ohio State will go to Michigan on Jan. 7 for the lone meeting between the rivals this season, play at Wisconsin three days later and return home for a brief respite

to host Illinois on Jan. 13 before hitting the road again.

On Jan. 17, Ohio State will fly west to play at Nebraska. Four days later, they will head east to take on Maryland, completing a run of four out of five games away from home.

For the remainder of the Big Ten schedule, the Buckeyes will alternate between two home games and two road games, concluding with a homestand against Purdue on Feb. 24 and Iowa on Feb. 28. In all, Ohio State will host 19 games this season.
