Overdose Hot Chicken, where spice-level descriptions start at "meh" and end at "WTF #*?%@," opened its second location Oct. 14 on Columbus' Northeast Side.
The address of the new restaurant is 5352 N. Hamilton Road.
Overdose Hot Chicken, which also serves hamburgers and fried shrimp, debuted in July 2024 at 3260 W. Broad St. Its chicken menu includes tenders, sandwiches (fried and smoked chicken are options) and loaded fries topped with chopped tenders, coleslaw and two sauces. Spice levels are sober, wild, hot, insane and overdose.
The burger side of the halal menu ranges from the classic standards to sandwiches, and the toppings also include fries, onion rings or chicken tenders. In addition to fries and coleslaw, Overdose Hot Chicken also offers
sides such as jalapeno poppers, fried pickles and mushrooms.
The new Northeast Side location, a former Subway restaurant, includes about six tables for customers to dine in.
