A 17-year-old boy has been charged with murder and felonious assault in the July 22 shooting death of a 15 year old.
Officers found Deniro Arnold and un unidentified adult with gunshot wounds after responding to calls reporting a shooting just before 6 p.m. that evening. Arnold, a sophomore at Columbus City Schools' South High School, was pronounced dead at a local hospital at 6:16 p.m.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on charges of murder and felonious assault in the shooting. Jeremiah Willoughby, 19, was charged with felony tampering with evidence and misdemeanor theft.
The Columbus Division of Police has called on the public to help locate Willoughby.
