Texas linebacker Rasheem Biles, a Pickerington Central graduate, didn't miss the opportunity to address his hometown team after the Longhorns' 24-23 win over the Buckeyes on Sept. 12.
Biles, who stated in the preseason he had no interest transferring to Ohio State in the offseason, had a confident statement while he was on the field postgame.
"What did I tell you? They should have came and got us," Biles said in a video from Spectrum News Texas. "We going to show y'all why we the No. 1 team in the country."

On Aug. 13, Biles told reporters that Ohio State "called" him when he entered the transfer
portal, but he had no interest in returning to Columbus.
"When I made my list and stuff, I told my mom I ain't really trying to be in Columbus," he said. "I ain't trying to be a Buckeye. They ain't want me out of high school and I was right there, so ain't no point in trying to get me now."
Biles was a three-star prospect coming out of high school and played for Pittsburgh for three seasons. He played in nine games as a freshman, mainly on special teams, and set the Pitt single-season record with three blocked punts in a season. He started 19 games in his Pitt career.
After being named SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors in Week 1, Biles led Texas in solo tackles against the Buckeyes with six. He finished with eight total tackles.
