Cincinnati Children's was ranked the best pediatric hospital in Ohio for the fifth year in a row, according to the latest report from U.S. News.
The U.S. News & World Report's 20th edition of Best Children's Hospitals analyzed data from over 100 pediatric hospitals and surveyed more than 40,000 pediatric specialists. Hospitals were ranked based on patient safety, clinical resources, family involvement and patient outcomes − such as survival, infections and surgical complications − over a 3-year period.
Cincinnati Children's, along with Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, also made the report's honor roll, a distinction awarded to the top 11 pediatric hospitals in the country that deliver high-quality care across multiple specialty areas.
Cincinnati Children's has made the honor roll every year since the distinction started in 2009. Cincinnati Children's and Nationwide Children's each ranked highly across all specialties, tying for the best pediatric hospital in the state and the Midwest.

Cincinnati Children's ranked highest in behavioral health, neonatology, cancer, diabetes and endocrinology, gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery, nephrology, neurology and neurosurgery and pulmonology.
