Cincinnati's thrilling theme park is going viral.
Kings Island, the destination for roller coasters and thrills since 1972, was featured on ESPN's TikTok page last week. The post, which received over 17,000 likes and about 311,000 views, was a point-of-view video riding the Diamondback. The roller coaster opened in 2009 and features a 230-foot first drop
and 5,282 feet of track at speeds of up to 80 mph.ESPN's video was met with several comments questioning why Kings Island was featured on the sports-focused social media page.
"Why is Kings Island on ESPN today," one TikTok user wrote.
"CINCINNATI ON ESPN BABY LETS GO," another user said.

The viral video, however, was originally
posted July 18 by Drew Dirksen, an American social media and content creator. Dirksen has 10.1 million TikTok followers, as well as 4.63 million YouTube subscribers and 1.7 million Instagram followers.
Dirksen, who gained a following for "always building or testing something," per his TikTok bio, shared more videos from his time at Kings Island on his second TikTok account, @alsodrewdirksen. So far, Dirksen has shared videos riding the Diamondback, The Beast, Orion, the Banshee and The Bat.
"Dude, we're flying," someone can be heard saying in the video.
Like most Diamondback riders, Dirksen and the person riding with him were also ecstatic going through the water as the ride came to an end. The content creator arguably had the best seat on the ride, taking in all the views front and center.
