Anderson:
The Raptors racked up 555 yards of offense in a 70-19 blowout against West Clermont.
Badin: Badin jumped all over Dixie Heights, winning 42-13 after taking a 35-6 halftime lead.
Colerain: Colerain had its highest-scoring game since 2021 with a 41-7 victory against Hamilton.
Elder: The Panthers won their ninth consecutive meeting with Covington Catholic in blowout fashion, winning 56-20.
Fenwick: Fenwick scored in all four quarters of a 41-20 win against Monroe.
Harrison: Harrison posted its second straight shutout, blanking McNicholas 28-0.
Lakota West: Lakota West poured on 27 points in the third quarter to get revenge on rival Lakota East, winning 48-18.
La Salle: La Salle’s defense held Northmont scoreless until the final play of the game, winning 38-6.
Lebanon: Lebanon jumped out to a 22-0 lead in an eventual 42-7 win against Loveland.
Mason: The Comets running game put up 319 yards and six touchdowns in a 43-24 win over Sycamore.
Milford: Milford’s passing attack lead the way with over 300 yards and five touchdowns in a 47-7 win against Walnut Hills.
Moeller: Moeller quickly took control against Groveport Madison, scoring six touchdowns in the first half for an eventual 45-7 win.
Oak Hills: Oak Hills is 2-0 for the first time since 2022 after shutting out Fairfield, 21-0.
Ross: Ross outgained Thurgood Marshall 443 yards to 37 yards in a 57-0 blowout.
St. Xavier: St. Xavier rushed for over 300 yards and forced three turnovers in a 35-7 win against Wayne.
Talawanda: The Brave blanked Meadowdale with a final score of 49-0.
Winton Woods: Winton Woods held Kings under 100 yards of offense in a 35-0 shutout.
Withrow: The Tigers’ offense came alive in the second half, putting up 32 points to beat Chaminade Julienne 45-12.
Ohio small-school football team of the week
Blanchester: Blanchester pulled away from Cincinnati Country Day in the second half, winning 41-20 after trailing 14-13 at halftime.
Cincinnati College Prep Academy: CCPA’s passing attack secured four touchdowns in a 38-12 win over Eastmoor Academy.
Gamble Montessori: The Gators ran for 235 yards and four touchdowns in a 46-13 win against Millersport.
Goshen: Goshen put up over 400 yards of offense to beat Hillsboro, 49-7.
Madeira: Madeira limited Middletown Madison to just 21 passing yards in a 27-0 shutout.
Mariemont: Mariemont held Norwood to 27 total yards in a 49-6 win.
Miami Valley Christian Academy: MVCA came away with four interceptions and put up 470 yards of offense in a 48-28 win over Clermont Northeastern.
North College Hill: The Trojans started their season with a dominant 46-0 win over Ponitz.
Northwest: Northwest gave up just 60 yards of offense in a 32-0 shutout against Reading.
Roger Bacon: Roger Bacon overcame an early 14-0 deficit to beat Western Hills, 41-28.
St. Bernard-Elmwood Place: The Titans blitzed Finneytown with a 21-point first quarter, going on to win 39-8.
Summit Country Day: Summit Country Day kept Clark Montessori off the board until the final quarter, winning 24-8.
Taylor: Taylor allowed just 55 rushing yards in a 27-0 win against Batavia.
Williamsburg: The Wildcats had two runners surpass 100 yards in a 34-14 win over New Richmond.
Wilmington: The Hurricane defense came away with four turnovers in a 35-7 win against Miami Trace.
Wyoming: The Cowboys came away with four interceptions, including one for a touchdown, in a 48-8 win over Purcell Marian.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana football team of the week
Beechwood: Beechwood only allowed Indian Hill across midfield three times in a 42-0 shutout.
Dayton: The Greendevils are 2-0 for the first time since 2020 following a 35-7 victory against Pendleton County
East Central: East Central knocked off 5A No. 1 New Palestine in a defensive showdown, winning 14-6.
Highlands: The Bluebirds put the hammer down on Cooper, winning 45-6.
Holy Cross: Holy Cross ran for 316 yards and five touchdowns in a 41-6 win over Bracken County.
Lawrenceburg: The Tigers rushed for over 300 yards to beat Greenfield-Central, 31-13.
Lloyd Memorial: The Juggernauts averaged 10 yards per carry in a dominant 43-0 win over Newport.
South Dearborn: South Dearborn’s steady offense scored a touchdown in each quarter in a 28-12 win over Switzerland County.
Boys fall team of the week
Covington Catholic soccer: After three-straight ties, Covington Catholic beat Simon Kenton 4-2 on Aug. 25.
Highlands soccer: The Bluebirds are 4-0 after beating St. Henry 1-0 ad Bishop Brossart 3-0.
Ryle golf: The Raiders won the Tom Johnson Invitational, shooting a 288 as a team to win by 23 shots.
St. Henry golf: St. Henry competed in the All “A” State meet, shooting a 321 as a team to finish in fifth place.
Talawanda soccer: Talawanda is 5-0 and has allowed just one goal this season. The Brave beat Northwest 5-0, Mount Healthy 9-0 and Middletown Madison 6-0 over the week.
Wilmington soccer: The Hurricane bounced back from their first loss, beating Western Brown 3-1 and New Richmond 2-1.
Girls fall team of the week
Beechwood volleyball: The Tigers are 8-1 this season, beating Villa Madonna, Holy Cross, St. Henry and Lexington Catholic while winning the All “A” Ninth Region tournament for the second-straight time.
Indian Hill soccer: Indian Hill beat Kings 3-0 and is 4-0 with only one goal allowed this season.
Mount Notre Dame field hockey: The Cougars beat Summit Country Day 10-0 and Magnificat 3-2 for their first wins of the year.
Springboro volleyball: The Panthers are 3-0 this season, recently beating Lakota West in five sets on Aug. 29.
St. Henry golf: At the All “A” State tourney, St. Henry finished in third place with a 372.
Wyoming volleyball: Wyoming beat Ross in four sets and swept Monroe to improve to 3-0 for the year.
Ohio boys cross country runner of the week
Nathan Burke, Goshen: He took 10th place at the Moeller Primetime Invitational in 16:57.3, then won at Felicity-Franklin in a time of 17:26.8.
Xavier Diesel-Slone: He led the Bulldogs to a team-runner-up finish at Felicity-Franklin with a second-place finish in 18:39.
Landon Hall, Western Brown: He was the runner-up at the Moeller Primetime Invitational with a time of 16:13.6.
William Harris, McNicholas: The freshman took third place in the Centerville Saturday Night Lights black race with a time of 17:31.4.
Owen Huff, Oak Hills: He took 12th place at the Centerville Saturday Night Lights championship race with a time of 16:23.3.
Tyler Martin, Indian Hill: He won the Centerville Saturday Night Lights black race with a new personal best of 17:06.8.
Thomas Moran, Mason: The sophomore led the Comets to a dominant team title at the Moeller Primetime Invitational, crossing the line as the winner in a new personal best of 15:55.1.
Carson Spencer, Turpin: He took fourth place in the Centerville Saturday Night Lights championship race with a time of 15:59.2, just missing his personal best.
Michael Strawser, Lebanon: He led the Warriors to the team title at Milton-Union with a fifth-place finish in 16:24.7.
Luke Thompson, East Clinton: The senior kicked to the win at Greenfield-McClain with a new personal best of 17:43.
Elijah Trickey, Anderson: He took third place in the Centerville Saturday Night Lights championship race with a new personal best of 15:43.8.

Dylan Clemons, Scott: He was the second Kentucky finisher at the Moeller Primetime Invitational, taking 14th place in 17:10.7.
Dylan Fortner, Highlands: He took eighth place in the Centerville Saturday Night Lights black race with a personal best of 17:57.6.
Braden Franxman, Covington Catholic: He led the Colonels to the Centerville Saturday Night Lights championship race team title with a fifth-place finish and a new personal best of 15:59.7.
Abram Hiltz, East Central: The senior took 16th place at Rushville with a new personal best of 17:53.67.
Samuel VandeWater, Campbell County: He took seventh place at the Moeller Primetime Invitational with a time of 16:51.1.
Logan Vaniglia, St. Henry: He took second place in the Centerville Saturday Night Lights varsity race in 16:43.5.

Gabriella Carraher, Mercy McAuley: The junior took seventh place at the Moeller Primetime Invitational with a time of 20:59.4.
Aleah Coster, Oak Hills: She was the top Ohio finisher in the Centerville Saturday Night Lights championship race, taking fifth place in 18:50.2.
Campbell Coyne, Seven Hills: She started her senior year with a 10th place finish in the Centerville Saturday Night Lights championship race in 19:08.3.
Abigail Hunt, Taylor: She took 14th place in the Centerville Saturday Night Lights black race with a time of 22:35.
Ella McConnell, McNicholas: She took third place in the Centerville Saturday Night Lights black race with a personal best of 20:27.4.
Emma McCormick, Summit Country Day: In her first race, the freshman broke the tape at Milton-Union with a time of 19:08.1.
Claire Moore, Williamsburg: She was the runner-up at Felicity Franklin in 22:18.3.

Lila Dunlevy, Campbell County: She was the overall winner at the Moeller Primetime Invitational, breaking the tape in 19:42.8.
Lily Gambrel, East Central: She took fourth place at Rushville in 20:10.74, just eight seconds slower than her personal best.
Gracie Golden, Dixie Heights: The freshman took fourth place in the Centerville Saturday Night Lights black race with a time of 21:07.3.
Isla Meyn, Highlands: She took seventh place in the Centerville Saturday Night Lights varsity race with a time of 20:15.1, just missing a new personal best.
Callie Ochsner, Bishop Brossart: The freshman earned her second top-two finish in as many weeks, finish as the Moeller Primetime Invitational runner-up in 20:13.3.
Ella Reimann, Cooper: She took sixth place in the Centerville Saturday Night Lights black race with a time of 21:10.6.
Field hockey player of the week
Millie Castellini, Summit Country Day: The senior captain leads on defense taking six steals against Walnut Hills and two against Mount Notre Dame.
Mirabel Chandler, Indian Hill: The senior captain and starting midfielder had two goals and two assists in a win over Ursuline Academy and had another goal in a win over Olentangy Orange.
Gretchen Pearson, Walnut Hills: The freshman stepped up to play against St. Ursula, amassing 17 saves and allowing only one goal.
Ohio big-school football player of the week
David Baldock, Harrison: He had nine tackles, six solo, and an interception in the Wildcats’ 28-0 shutout of McNicholas.
Zachary Branam, Sycamore: He completed 26-of-35 passes for 346 yards and four touchdowns in Sycamore’s 43-24 loss to Mason.
Roman Garr, Colerain: He threw for 296 yards and four touchdowns, and rushed for 76 including a 55-yard TD, as Colerain beat Hamilton 41-7 for its most points in a game since 2021.
Mark Madden, Withrow: He had a 92-yard kick return for a touchdown and seven tackles in a 45-12 win over Chaminade-Julienne.
Zach McAlister, La Salle: The sophomore backup quarterback led the Lancers to a 38-6 win over Northmont. He entered the game when it was tied 0-0. He threw a 23-yard TD pass on his first varsity pass to give the Lancers the lead. He led the team in rushing with 78 yards which included a 68-yard touchdown run. Additionally, he completed a 50-yard punt.
Alex Nagel, Mason: He rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns in Mason’s 43-24 win over Sycamore in the Battle of the Skies GMC rivalry.
Aidan Newdigate, St. Xavier: Against Wayne, Newdigate was 6-for-9 passing for 148 yards and two touchdowns. He also did damage on the ground, rushing 15 times for 128 yards and three more score
Kenyon Norman, Lakota West: The Northwestern commit led an explosive Lakota West offense in a 48-18 win over archrival Lakota East with career highs in rushing yards (262) and touchdowns (4). After a 72-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, Norman opened the second-half scoring with a 75-yard touchdown. He later ran for a 28-yard score late in the third quarter, shedding multiple tacklers on his way to the endzone.
Logan Schmenk, Lebanon: He rushed for 238 yards and two touchdowns in the Warriors’ 42-7 win over Loveland.
Lincoln Schreiber, Oak Hills: He threw for 276 yards and a touchdown, a school-record 92-yard pass play to Cordell Ball, in a 21-0 win over Fairfield.
J.J. Shelton, Winton Woods: Shelton opened Winton Woods' dominant 35-0 victory over Kings with a 99-yard kickoff return touchdown.
Gianni Simpson, Princeton: He intercepted two passes in Princeton’s 27-7 win over Middletown in the GMC opener.
Chase Walpole, Elder: He was the team’s player of the game with four catches for 109 yards in a 56-20 win over Covington Catholic.
Aiden Wehrum, Milford: Wehrum, a sophomore quarterback, had six total touchdowns in his first varsity start, a 47-7 win over Walnut Hills. Through the air, Wehrum completed 17 of 22 passes for 340 yards and five scores, while adding 34 yards and another touchdown rushing. It was the most touchdowns by a Milford QB since October 2022.
Ohio small-school football player of the week
A.J. Ashcraft, Wilmington: He had a 64-yard pick-six in a 35-7 win over Miami Trace.
Q’Moni Bankhead, Gamble Montessori: He threw for 138 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for 137 and two in a 46-13 win over Millersport.
Cooper Blackburn, Madeira: He threw for 230 yards on 17-of-21 passing and three touchdowns in a 27-0 win over Middletown Madison.
Landen Brandenburg, Williamsburg: He rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns, and intercepted a pass on defense, in a 34-14 win over New Richmond.
Donovan Brown, Wyoming: He caught three passes for 41 yards and three touchdowns, scored a fumble return for a TD, and had an interception, in a 48-8 win over Purcell Marian.
Morgan Brown, Deer Park: Brown scored three times to lead Deer Park to a 50-8 win over Shroder. Brown ran once for a 48-yard score and intercepted two passes that he also ran back for touchdowns.
Keon Campbell, St. Bernard-Elmwood Place: He had a receiving touchdown and two interceptions, one for a score, in a 39-8 win over Finneytown.
Max Cicchinelli, Cincinnati Country Day: Making his varsity debut as back-up QB in a loss to Blanchester, he completed his first 12 varsity pass attempts and finished the game against Blanchester 13/17 for 142 yards (TD, 2-pt conversion, INT). In addition, he returned punts and had 4 tackles (2 solo, 2 assist) on defense.
Eric Cody, Roger Bacon: He rushed for 142 yards and three touchdowns, two in the fourth quarter to extend the lead, and intercepted a pass, in a 41-28 win over Western Hills.
Ethan Dixion, Northwest: He rushed for 140 yards and three touchdowns in a 32-0 win over Reading, and also had six tackles, two for loss.
Will Gooding, Taylor: He had seven tackles including three sacks in a 27-0 win over Taylor.
Kemmarion McCray, CCPA: The junior was 9-of-13 passing for 218 yards and four touchdowns in the Lions’ 38-12 win over Eastmoor Academy.
Frankie McIntosh, Blanchester: He led the team with six tackles and also had an interception in a 41-20 win over Cincinnati Country Day.
Aydin Sistrunk, MVCA: In a 49-28 win over Clermont Northeastern, he had 16 carries for 242 yds and 3 TDs.
Camden Telinda, Goshen: He led the team in tackles, had an interception on defense, and two catches for 64 yards and two touchdowns in a 49-7 win over Hillsboro.
Jackson Turner, Badin: He had eight tackles and an interception in a 42-13 win over Dixie Heights.
Northern Kentucky/ Indiana football player of the week
Bryce Armstrong, Highlands: He threw for 164 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 102 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Cooper.
Avery Conrad, Lloyd Memorial: He ran for 77 yards and two touchdowns, caught two passes for 17 yards, made three tackles and grabbed an interception in a win over Newport.
Ayden Earls, Campbell County: He caught three passes for 142 yards, an average of 47.3 yards per catch, and had two touchdowns in a win over Southwestern.
Mateo Granados, Boone County: He led the Rebels with 13 tackles, two for loss, and forced a fumble as Boone County held off a St. Henry comeback.
Cahlil Johnson, Holy Cross: He was one of three Indians to record an interception in a win over Bracken County.
Chase McCracken, East Central: He led the Trojans with nine tackles and grabbed an interception in a win over New Palestine.
Nate Pabst, Beechwood: He ran for 67 yards and two touchdowns and had 34 receiving yards in a win over Indian Hill.
Charlie Park, Ryle: He recorded five tackles, grabbed an interception and recovered a fumble in a win over Conner.
Deaken Reed, Ludlow: He ran the ball 16 times for 110 yards and led the Panthers with 12 tackles as Ludlow moved to 2-0 for the first time since 2022.
Peyton Testerman, Simon Kenton: He ran the ball 10 times for 138 yards and a touchdown in a win over Western Brown.
Brogan Wynn, Lawrenceburg: He ran for 201 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Greenfield Central.

Reese Anthony, St. Henry: Anthony led St. Henry at the All “A” tournament, shooting an 80 to finish in seventh place.
Lexi Holzbacher, Oak Hills: She shot an 81 at Miami Whitewater to take medalist honors at the Best of the West.
Ella Martin, Holy Cross: Martin shot a 55 on Aug. 25 to help lead Holy Cross to a 246-253 win over Scott.
Emma Schroeder, Seton: Schroeder shot a 39 at Miami Whitewater and was the medalist in a tri-match against Oak Hills and Harrison.

Morgan MacDonald, Holy Cross: She had all three goals in a 3-1 win over Cooper.
Kourtney Rahschulte, Ryle: She had a goal, two assists in a 3-0 win over Madisonville-North Hopkins, and a goal in a 3-0 win over Shelbyville Central.
Elizabeth Randolph, East Central: She had three goals and assist against South Dearborn.

Elle Finley, Seton: The freshman is still undefeated in singles competition after a second singles win vs. Ursuline and a first singles victory against Summit Country Day.
Renee Harper, Oak Hills: The junior is still unbeaten at 5-0 in first singles play after matches against Lakota West, Lakota East, and Seton.
Makayla Malone, Turpin: The sophomore is 5-0 in first singles play, posting wins against Winton Woods, St. Ursula, and Lakota East.
Emma Raetscher, Anderson: The freshman picked up two more wins in first singles, beating Lebanon and Miamisburg.
Serena Sayles, Sycamore: The junior went 4-0 for the week, winning first singles matches against Princeton, Centerville, Notre Dame, and Toledo St. Ursula.
Tatum Strange, Blanchester: The junior picked up two first singles wins, beating Felicity-Franklin and East Clinton.

Genevieve Gallagher-Harper Brown, Badin: The junior and sophomore secured a 6-3, 6-3 first doubles win against Carroll.
Karlee Wareham-Madison Roberts, East Clinton: The underclassman duo defeated Blanchester in first doubles, winning 6-0, 4-6, 6-2.
Elizabeth Brehm-Rayna Widmer, Lakota West: The sophomore and freshman are off to a 3-0 start in first doubles play with wins last week against Wyoming and Oak Hills.
Hailey Hutzel-Molly Mohr, Roger Bacon: The junior and senior were 6-3, 6-4 winners against Cincinnati Country Day.
Ciara Molinsky-Ana Ramirez, Ursuline: The seniors picked up a key6-4, 6-4 first doubles match against Seton to lead Ursuline to a team victory.

Lexi Braddock, Anderson: The senior had 31 assists, 13 digs, four kills and two aces in a win over Loveland.
Alex Cloninger, Mason: In three wins at the Columbus Invitational Tournament, she totaled 39 assists, 22 digs and five aces.
Kenna Farris, Harrison: She registered her 1,000th career assist in a win over Lawrenceburg, finishing with 32 assists, eight digs and two aces. She also had 30 assists, three blocks and two digs in a win over Fairfield.
Amara Fellows, Lakota West: The sophomore had 26 assists, two aces and two digs in a win over Little Miami, then had 16 assists and three digs in a win over Fairfield.
Mandy Ludwick, Lebanon: She posted 12 digs, 10 kills, three aces and two assists in a win over Fairmont.
Charley Moeddel, Seton: Behind her 38 total kills, 11 digs nine aces and eight blocks, the Saints won the Columbus Invitational Tournament.
Mina Radaszewski, Ursuline: She was on of four Lions with double-digit kills in a win over Mason, posting 13 terminations and seven digs. She later had 17 digs, four kills and two blocks in a win over Mercy (KY).
Jazmine Robinson, Colerain: She led the Cardinals to a five-set win over Hamilton with 14 kills, four digs and three blocks.
Leah Seeger, Mount Notre Dame: She led the Cougars to three wins at the Columbus Invitational Tournament with 31 total kills, 18 digs, four aces and four blocks.
Lucy Waleskowski, St. Ursula: In wins over Kings and Notre Dame, she totaled 88 assists, 30 digs, 16 kills and four blocks.

Sydney Bouldin, Mercy McAuley: The senior posted 13 kills, eight digs, six blocks and three aces against Oak Hills.
Reese DeBold, East Clinton: In the Astros’ first win of the season, she posted 11 digs, eight kills, eight assists and two aces.
Aubree Haddix, Reading: The freshman posted 25 assists, 18 digs, nine kills, an ace and a block in a five-set win over Clermont Northeastern.
Kennedy Haucke, McNicholas: She was the Rockets’ go-to option in a sweep of Notre Dame, finishing with 16 kills and a .382 hitting percentage, nine digs and four blocks.
Tessa Jewell, St. Bernard-Elmwood Place: In the Titans’ first two wins of the season, she totaled 27 aces, 23 assists, seven kills and four digs.
Lila McCarty, Western Brown: She led the Broncos to a win over Wilmington with 31 assists, 14 digs, four kills and two aces. She then had 34 assists, eight digs, four kills and four aces in a win over Clinton-Massie.
Carley Nadler, Badin: She led the Rams with 16 digs in a win over Lebanon.
Abbie Patton, Talawanda: She helped the Brave to a five-set win over Sycamore with 15 kills, 11 digs, four aces and three assists.

Megan Arthur, Calvary Christian: The junior led the Cougars to a five-set win over Grant County with 17 kills, 13 digs, an ace and a block.
Adalyn Bertsch, Campbell County: Her double-double of 20 assists and 11 digs helped the Camels win a tight four-set match over Highlands.
Kinley Dunford, Scott: She starred in a sweep of Lloyd Memorial with 10 digs, seven assists, five kills and two aces.
Madelyn Keipert, St. Henry: She was named to the Ninth Region All “A” all-tournament team after totaling 43 assists, 13 digs, eight kills and three aces.
Grayson Messer, Lawrenceburg: The sophomore had 18 digs, 15 kills, four blocks and three assists in a five-set win over Oldenburg Academy.
Eyden Moats, Dixie Heights: Her 17 assists, nine digs, six kills and four assists led the Colonels to a five-set win over Lloyd Memorial.
Maria Mullis, Simon Kenton: She had 13 kills in a five-set match against Cooper.
Isabel O’Brien, Beechwood: In four matches, the senior totaled 53 kills, 45 digs and eight aces to lead the Tigers to a 4-0 record. She was also named MVP of the Ninth Region All “A” tournament.
Charlotte Patton, Conner: The junior put up a monster stat line of 28 kills, 14 digs and three blocks in a win over Newport Central Catholic.
Aubrey Rebholz, Bishop Brossart: In three wins, she totaled 68 assists, 11 digs, three kills and two aces.
Emma Redlinger, Notre Dame: The junior helped the Pandas snap a two-game skid with 10 kills and two blocks in a sweep of Lexington Catholic.
Gisele Slayback, Cooper: She led the Jaguars to a reverse sweep at Simon Kenton with 16 kills on a .520 hitting percentage and two aces.
Ashley Towner, Ryle: She had10 kills with a .364 hitting percentage, five aces and a block in a sweep of Walton-Verona, then helped the Raiders to a five-set win over West Jessamine with 17 kills on a .310 hitting percentage, five digs and an ace.

For past winners: The Enquirer will no longer mail certificates to schools after getting feedback that families weren't receiving them. Alex Harrison will make digital copies of all certificates available to families by 8 a.m. the Monday after the Friday win. Families will access the PDFs through this public Dropbox link.
