Foy's Halloween and Variety Store might just be one of the most unique Halloween stores in Ohio.
Located in downtown Fairborn, about 65 miles north of downtown Cincinnati, you'll find several spooky-themed stores bearing the "Foy's" name. Albert Foy originally opened the main Halloween store in 1929 as a variety store. Foy's businesses have since grown into a full block of shops along Fairborn's Main Street.
Across from the main Halloween (or variety) store are the kid's costume shop, the haunted house, a special effects store and a haunted museum. The adult costume shop is also along the same strip.
Foy's Halloween store has been in business for 97 years, making it the oldest business in Fairborn. Mike Foy, a third-generation owner, runs the shop
and pays homage to his family at nearly every corner, like using the store's original candy counter.
From costumes to decor, Halloween makeup and more, Foy's has just about everything you'd need for the spooky holiday (and other seasons). Although Foy's celebrates Halloween year-round, they'll swap out decor and other things to make way for Christmas and Santa costumes.
Should you find yourself in the area, be sure to check out Foy's Halloween and Variety Store at 18-20 E. Main St. in Fairborn.
