Hello Kitty is stomping back to McDonald's in full kaiju form.
The beloved Sanrio franchise's latest Happy Meal collaboration combines Hello Kitty and her friends with Godzilla characters including Mothra and Rodan, creating adorable collectables for the fast-food giant.
It's not the first time Hello Kitty has been mashed up with a popular franchise at McDonald's. August 2025 brought the Hello Kitty x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Happy Meals. And in August 2024, Hello Kitty joined the Yu-Gi-Oh universe.
Guillaume Huin, senior marketing director for McDonald's, teased the latest Happy Meal on X.

The new Happy Meal will be available at McDonald's restaurants starting Aug. 18, per Huin.

McDonald's hasn't officially announced what toys will be available. However, fast-food influencer Snackolator claims there will be eight character mashups:
