Discover Clermont has named Sarah Gleason president of the Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau after nearly 12 years with the organization.
The appointment was made by the Discover Clermont Board of Directors, according to a community announcement. Gleason previously served as director of marketing and was named interim president in June. During her time in that role, the organization said she strengthened relationships with tourism partners, hotel operators, elected officials, community leaders and industry stakeholders while helping advance efforts to grow Clermont County's visitor economy.

the organization.
“Sarah brings a deep understanding of Clermont County’s tourism industry, and strong relationships throughout our community,” Patel said. “Her leadership, knowledge, and commitment to Clermont County make her the right person to lead the organization forward. We are excited to see what Discover Clermont will accomplish under her direction.”

Discover Clermont said its priorities under Gleason's leadership will include increasing visitation, attracting travelers from outside the region, supporting local tourism businesses, improving the visitor experience and strengthening Clermont County's position as a regional tourism destination.
