The Cincinnati Bearcats men's basketball schedule is complete, featuring home-and-away games with Kansas State, Texas Tech and West Virginia; home matchups with Arizona, Arizona State, UCF, Houston, Kansas and TCU and away games at Baylor, BYU, Colorado, Iowa State, Oklahoma State and Utah.
The Big 12 opener is Saturday, Jan. 2 at Fifth Third Arena against Texas Tech, who finished 21st in both college basketball polls last season. The Bearcats also host one game vs. Big 12 champion Arizona (3rd in both polls last season) on Tuesday, Feb. 2. Big 12 runner-up Houston visits on Tuesday, March 2.
UC will also host Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks on Tuesday, Jan. 19 and visit Iowa State on Tuesday, Feb. 16. The Jayhawks were No. 20 in both polls,
with Iowa State No. 8. Last season's UC squad knocked off Kansas in Allen Fieldhouse and the Cyclones in a home game.
UC's annual home-and-away series with West Virginia features a Saturday, Jan. 16 game in Morgantown, with the return game at Fifth Third Arena on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
UC made its non-conference slate public in late August. It includes a doubleheader against Ohio State on Oct. 7 at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason, followed by Xavier and Dayton.
