The Hamilton County Coroner is expected to share new details about William Evans-Ellis, the Oakley boy who was found dead and severely abused last week.
Dr. Lakshmi Sammarco will hold a press conference at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, to share findings from William's autopsy.
William was found bound with duct tape in the closet of an Oakley apartment Aug. 6, police said. Detectives have said there was evidence of beatings and burns on William’s body, as well as evidence that he was choked while being held underwater.
His mother, Kaitlin Evans, is charged with murder and child endangerment. Kirby Rankin and Nessa Keaney, who lived with Evans and William, are facing the same charges.
Police were sent to William's home after a woman who identified herself
as his mother walked into an emergency room and told hospital staff her partner was trying to kill her and had taken her son.
