Cincinnati Bengals offensive lineman Dalton Risner was injured during the second quarter of the team's NFL Week 4 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Paycor Stadium.
Risner limped off the field after quarterback Joe Burrow's interception. He did return to the game later in the second quarter.
Risner didn't practice Thursday or Friday because of a knee injury. He was listed on the team's injury report as questionable.
With 53 seconds left in the 30-27 loss to Pittsburgh in Week 3, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was sacked at the Pittsburgh 46-yard line by the Steelers' Derrick Harmon. Harmon beat Risner to get to Burrow.
Risner is entering his eighth NFL season, second with the Bengals.
In 2025, Risner suffered a right calf injury during the
third quarter of the team's NFL Week 3 loss to Minnesota at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Jalen Rivers replaced Risner at right guard.
Risner told reporters he could've done a better job protecting starting quarterback Joe Burrow on the play against the Jacksonville Jaguars in which Burrow suffered a turf-toe injury.
