"Dancing with the Stars" brought all the tears and emotions on "Dedication Night" Oct. 20, especially for "The Bachelorette" alum Tyler Cameron and his fiancée, a Cincinnati native, who made a special announcement.
Cameron, his pro partner Sharna Burgess and fiancée Tate Madden took over the ballroom floor
, dancing a contemporary to "Supermarket Flowers" by Ed Sheeran in honor of all moms, especially Cameron's, who passed away in 2020.During the dance, Cameron's voice could be heard talking about his mother and Madden. Then near the end of the dance, he lifted Madden into the air, where she revealed her belly, announcing her pregnancy. The moment moved audiences to tears, including the judges.
As if the announcement wasn't sweet enough, the couple
also revealed the baby's gender after the dance, and the soon-to-be newlyweds are having a ... GIRL!
"I get to be a girl dad. What a gift, what an opportunity," Cameron said.
The couple told People Magazine they found out about the pregnancy shortly after getting engaged in August. "The night we got back from getting engaged, I took the [pregnancy] test," Madden said. After seeing the positive result, she told Cameron, "You’re not going to believe this."
Cameron and Madden decided to keep the pregnancy a secret, only telling a small group of family and friends, hoping he would make it to "Dedication Night" so they could announce the news publicly.

The pair announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post Aug. 15. "Better late than never they say," Cameron captioned the post. The 33-year-old was the runner-up of the iconic 2019 season of "The Bachelorette" with Hannah Brown.

Madden reportedly took photos for various aspects of the show. Cameron hard-launched his relationship with Madden by posting a video of the pair dancing on Instagram in September 2024.
"It started off we were just working together," Cameron told E! News in 2024. "It was always platonic and cool, and she was always the life of the party and fun. Everyone gravitates toward her. She’s just a ball of fun energy, and everyone enjoys being around her."
While Cameron is from Jupiter, Florida, he's been spotted in the Queen City at a 2024 Reds game and even stopped by the Batavia Police Department last Christmas along with his fiancée, Tate Madden, who is originally from the region.
