When is the Blink opening ceremony?
Instead of a parade, this year's festival will begin with a block party Oct. 8 from 4-9 p.m. outside TQL Stadium in Cincinnati's West End.
Organizers say the five-block party will be a larger, more immersive opening-night gathering. The party will feature live music from local DJs, interactive and collaborative art installations, hands-on light art creation stations,
community activations and food and beverage vendors.
At sundown, there will be an official Blink opening ceremony, followed by a drone and pyrotechnic show set to illuminate the stadium and the surrounding skyline, according to a press release.
Will there be other Blink drone shows?
Yes. After the "First Sight" drone show Oct. 8, Blink will present "Dimensions of Wonder" over the Ohio River twice nightly Oct. 9-11.
What time is the Blink drone show?
The opening-night drone show is scheduled for 8:30-8:45 p.m. Oct. 8. The "Dimensions of Wonder" shows are scheduled for 8-8:30 p.m. and 10-10:30 p.m. Oct. 9-11.
