We are in the homestretch prior to the high school girls soccer postseason, and there are plenty of races that will be decided before the tournament starts.
Here are this week's power rankings.
10. Walnut Hills Eagles (8-3-3)
Last week: unranked
The Eagles are tied with Milford on top of the Eastern Cincinnati Conference standings after drawing with the Eagles 0-0, then beating Anderson 2-0. Junior Karringtyn Wilder had both goals against Anderson and leads the Eagles with nine, plus seven assists. Walnut Hills has only allowed two goals in league play.
Upcoming schedule: at Little Miami (Oct. 10), vs. Kings (Oct. 13), at Seton (Oct. 14).
9. Milford Eagles (8-3-4)
Last week: 9
Besides the scoreless draw with Walnut Hills, the other set of ECC Eagles also beat Anderson, 1-0, and tied for first place in the league
with a 2-1 win at Little Miami Oct. 6.
Upcoming schedule: vs. West Clermont (Oct. 13), at Loveland (Oct. 20).
8. East Central Trojans (12-3-1)
Last week: 8
The Trojans rebounded from a 5-0 loss to Harrison by beating rival Lawrenceburg 1-0 in the first round of their 3A sectional tournament in Whiteland. EC will have a tough bracket this week as it tries to win the sectional title, including fifth-ranked Center Grove.
Upcoming schedule: vs. Columbus North in 3A sectional at Whiteland (Oct. 7), possible sectional final (Oct. 10)
7. Mason Comets (9-3-2)
Last week: unranked
The Comets have won three in a row, including multi-goal wins over both Lakota schools in Greater Miami Conference play and an emphatic 5-1 win over Centerville, a regular Division I regional contender who leads the Greater Western Ohio Conference. Senior Bella Anderson had six goals in the three games, four against Centerville, and sophomore Liana Kim found the back of the net twice in both GMC contests. Mason, second place in the GMC, will need to beat first-place Sycamore next week to win at least a share of the league title.
Upcoming schedule: at Hamilton (Oct. 8), vs. Sycamore (Oct. 14), at Anderson (Oct. 17).
6. Summit Country Day Silver Knights (10-4-1)
Last week: 5
The Silver Knights continued to struggle with two losses to bigger schools, a 1-0 loss to St. Ursula and 4-0 to GMC leader Sycamore. Summit will get another big test against Seton as the Knights try to regroup for the Division III tournament.

5. Indian Hill Braves (10-0-2)
Last week: 6
The Braves routed Finneytown and shut out a tough Batavia squad to remain unbeaten for the year.
Upcoming schedule: at Alter (Oct. 12), at Deer Park (Oct. 14), at Turpin (Oct. 15)
4. Harrison Wildcats (10-2-2)
Last week: 4
The Wildcats rebounded from a 3-2 loss to Seton with a 5-0 win over East Central and 4-2 over Lakota East. Sophomore Lucy Schwieterman scored two goals in both games and has seven for the season. Harrison, not in a league this year, has more tough games to prepare for the Division II playoffs

3. Ross Rams (14-0)

Last week: 3
The Rams showed no letdown after a monumental 4-0 win over Summit Country Day, beating Talawanda (4-0) and Monroe (3-0) in league play. Maci Taylor and Aubrey Eads scored three goals apiece in the two games, and the Rams defense has continued to shine, with 12 shutouts in their 14 wins and two goals conceded overall. They can win the Southwestern Buckeye-Southwestern for the second year in a row by beating Bellbrook this week.
Upcoming schedule: vs. Bellbrook (Oct. 8), vs. Edgewood (Oct. 13).
2. Sycamore Aviators (10-2-2)

Last week: 2
The Aviators posted an impressive 4-0 win over Summit Country Day as they keep rolling. They have now won nine straight overall, six in Greater Miami Conference play, by a total of 55-4. If they beat Fairfield this week, they will clinch a share of their first GMC title since 2007, with a chance to win it outright against second-place Mason next week. Sycamore hasn't beaten Mason since 2006, with 16 losses and three draws, and has scored 10 goals in those 19 games, so the Aviators have a chance to make history.

1. Seton Saints (15-0)
Last week: 1
The Saints won the Girls Greater Catholic League with a 4-0 win over Mount Notre Dame. Lexi Voelkerding scored two of the four goals. The Saints have outscored their foes 43-1 in league play with one game remaining, and will have two tough non-league tests left before the Division I playoffs.
Upcoming schedule: at Summit Country Day (Oct. 10), vs. Walnut Hills (Oct. 14)
