Get ready to enjoy a clear and sunny Labor Day, Cincinnati.
The National Weather Service has forecasted a continued refuge from the intense heat with a high of 88 degrees Monday, Sept. 7, and a low around 67 degrees at night. Rain is not forecasted for Labor Day and cloud coverage in the sky will stay under about 40%.
Temperatures will begin to return to the low 90s on Tuesday, Sept. 8 with Wednesday, Sept. 9 forecasted to be slightly hotter. Rain chances increase by midweek.
Storms from Wednesday night through Thursday night will not likely be severe, according to the national weather service forecast discussion. If those storms repeat over the same areas, it will bring on a flash flooding threat.
A cold front will accompany the rain and thunderstorms forecasted to start around 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to the weather service. Temperatures will stay in the low 80s on Friday, Sept. 11 before jumping back into the high 80s over the weekend.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 67. East wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 71. Light south wind.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 93. Southwest wind 6 to 11 mph.
Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
